New Mexico is called the Land of Enchantment, a name that fits it well. The light in Northern New Mexico is similar to that of the provincial region of France. The light is OUTSTANDING for making art. The culture, the light, the people, the chiles, and the landscape pull me to them. Ghost Ranch, near Abiquiu, has a very special place in my heart and history. It is where Georgia O'Keefe fell in love with painting, and it is where I have grown my family, friendships, and art.

If you notice, I make my way all over the state: the cities, the villages, the badlands, the mountain tops, the canyons, the forests and deserts.
