Winter at the beach makes it easy to watch both the sunrise and the sunset, because are late and early respectively. My girls helped me capture this one, it was magical to teach them to mix colors they observed, and then paint the canvas where they observed that color in the landscape. Almost like solving a puzzle, and their delight at fitting in the pieces is something I hope to always remember.
