Creating Prayers of Gratitude in Mixed Media April 10, 2025

Artists Juliana Crownover and Margot Miller will co lead this one day workshop.  Let play come into your prayer life!!!

Date: April 10, 2025

Location: Church of the Incarnation 3966 McKinney Dr.; Dallas, TX 75204

Time: 9am – 4pm lunch and coffee provided

Through prayer, reflection, demonstration and individual instruction you will be guided step by step to help you create tangible prayers of gratitude.  You will leave with at least two 6″ square cradled panels containing your prayers of gratitude. This workshop will be structured with enough direction to ensure success and enough freedom to allow for creative expression. All materials and lunch provided.

In mixed media… Anything goes!  No, You don’t have to be an artist!  This class will allow you to rediscover your sense of play and to make wonderful art.  We will use use: collage, acrylic, house paint, carpenter’s pencils, charcoal, chalk markers, pencils, pastels, oil pastels, inktense sticks and pencils, oil sticks, glue, acrylic mediums of every variety, and even silicone.

We invite you to bring your own apron and personal materials to collage.  We will have many, but personal things make your art extra special.  Examples: anything with handwriting on it, bits or pieces of fabric, buttons, beads, baubles, keys, prayer cards, post cards, stamps etc.
